As a population we are always so busy and predominantly time poor.
So we tend to give kids, parents, jobs and spouses priority of our time, and leave ourselves out of the equation.
This can lead to health issues, resentment, lethargy, exhaustion and weight gain and self esteem loss.
We continue to tell ourselves we are too busy to...
Be kind to yourself because the reality is:
We are all busy,
We all have "other" things to do.
And we all only have 24 hours in a day.
Are you someone that will sometimes sit back and look at others and wonder...how do they fit it all in?
How do they have time to go to the gym, the hairdresser, the movies and still get things done?
Their answer is they make time for THEMSELVES because they have validated that "they are allowed!"
Thats's it, no magic, no secret spell , just self love.
It is true - unless you make time for you, unless you say its ok - life, health and self esteem will pass you by.
So if today is YOUR DAY to draw a line in the sand and say I AM ALLOWED,
give yourself a pat on the back and follow through with it.
Now grab a pen and paper and write down, if you could guarantee yourself 2 hours over every 24 hour span:
What would you do?
What would be important to you?
Who would you like to hang out with?
What would make you feel amazing?
If one of those options would be to:
Have time out
Catch up on a book or Facebook in peace
Sleep - while burning calories
